TruSculpt flex is a muscle sculpting device that offers personalized treatments based on patient fitness level, shape, and goals. It uses a unique method of electrical muscle stimulation to target specific muscle groups using three treatment mode options, replicating:

TruSculpt flex can help to strengthen your core or tone areas such as arms and legs without the need for excessive gym usage.

Up to eight areas can be treated in each 45-minute session.

Three treatment mode options are available to customise the results to each patient’s goals.

Prep mode: Creates a twisting motion to warm up, stretch the muscles and slowly build a tolerance to muscle contractions.
Tone mode: Contracts the muscles, holds it to the point of exhaustion, and then relaxes it to increase strength and enhance endurance.
Sculpt mode: Fast, deep, sequential contractions of the muscles to build muscle mass and increase basal metabolic rate (BMR).

Results will usually be seen 12 weeks after an initial 4 treatments. Treatments must not be repeated sooner than 48 hours to allow the muscles to recuperate between sessions.

Once optimal results have been reached, it is advisable to maintain results with a session every 3-6 months.

The procedure

Following a consultation with one of our wonderful Thames Skin Therapists or your initial new patient consultation with Dr Hemming we will discuss your treatment goals and plan for your treatment. Thames Skin Clinic will check your medical history is suitable for treatment and you will sign a consent form. We record all of our patients photographs for comparison later.

Your comfort levels and expectations are important factors which are considered in your consultation.

Treatment Areas

Side effects

Normal post body sculpting side effects include some heat and redness and some tightness or tingling. Muscle soreness and treatment area sensitivity is also a common side effect. Some resolves within hours, others over a few days from 48 hours to 7-14 days post treatment. This all depends on the type of concern treated on the day.

Please discuss any current medication with the doctor, especially if you are taking aspirin on Ibuprofen. Medication may need to be stopped before treatment.

Aftercare

Frequent urination and/or bowel stimulation may be caused by the procedure.
Tingling/Numbness in the areas treated up to a few hours after procedure.
Slight muscle soreness/tenderness 24-72 hours after procedure.
Random muscle contraction after procedure.
Increase in metabolic rate results in feeling hungry more frequently. Please be aware of this fact and DO NOT overeat.
Burns beneath the electrodes have been reported with the use of powered muscle stimulators. If this occurs, please call the clinic for wound management instruction.

I have been coming to Dr Anna Hemming for wrinkle treatment for the past 4 years. I’m always happy with the fresher natural look she gives me. I really trust Dr Hemming to do the best for me and feel safe in her experienced medically qualified hands. So, now she has opened a fabulous new clinic I’m venturing to other treatments. I started to develop skin issues around my eyelid area. Having been to see two other dermatologists who were unable to assist due to the delicate and sensitive area around the eyes, it was a welcome relief for Dr Anna Hemming to be recommended to me. Clearer skin at last!

I look younger!

I received Fractora treatment now 3 weeks ago from Dr Hemming. There has been a slow healing and gradually I see myself less tired looking and my lines have noticeably reduced . The beginnings of a jowel I had along my jawline has disappeared which is exactly the part of my face that bothered me most. It seems as if I’ve had a face lift! My skin is firmer and the hollows less deep. I dare say I look younger.

Go, you will not be disappointed.

I have recently moved to Barnes and was searching for someone that could deliver wrinkle injections on my skin but I wanted someone reputable, Doctor led, and that didn’t over do my face as I don’t want it to look like I have treatments. I had my appointment with Anna, the lovely lady that owns this clinic and what a brilliant experience it was for me. I knew my end result would be exactly what I was after. I shall be back, for other treatments because I feel I’m in safe hands and you all know what you’re talking about. No I know why Anna has such a great reputation within the industry. I’ve had the pleasure of going to Dr Anna for a few years now and was delighted when she opened The Thames Skin Clinic as so close to where I live. The space is gorgeous and bright so perfect for any treatments you may require! I’ve been used to, in the past to going into these darkened rooms where they surely can’t treat you properly. Dr Anna and her team are professional and friendly in the right measure and make you feel at ease and confident that you’ll walk out of there looking and feeling a million dollars!!
