CQC registered
We are inspected by the Care Quality Commission
As a medical aesthetics clinic, at Thames Skin Clinic, you aren’t ‘clients’ or ‘customers’. You’re under our care and therefore, our patients.
As a doctor-led clinic, we have a duty of care to you – and that means your well-being comes first in everything we do.
You might think of us as offering a service or delivering treatments, but actually, we provide care – helping our patients reach their personal goals with the highest standards of safety & ethics.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the regulator of healthcare in England and Wales; they monitor, inspect and regulate healthcare services to ensure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety.
Thames Skin Clinic is registered with the CQC to deliver the regulated activities of Treatment of Disease, Disorder and Injury, Diagnostic and Screening Procedures, Surgical Procedures and Services in Slimming Clinics.
When the CQC carry out inspections, their aim is to make sure that the services offered are:
- Safe
- Effective
- Caring
- Responsive
- Well-led
Once inspected, the CQC rate the clinic and publish their findings openly on their website.
This recognition is so essential for our patients for several reasons:
– It demonstrates that our clinic meets rigorous quality standards and is safe for patients.
– It shows that our team is competent and knowledgeable in a field where there is, unfortunately, a lack of regulation in many areas.
– It protects & safeguards our patients.
