Safety at Thames Skin Clinic is paramount and to prove this we have been inspected and checked against save face’s robust set of standards to get our accreditation. Save Face is a national register of Accredited practitioners who provide non-surgical cosmetic treatments such as anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers.

Their register is accredited by Professional Standards Authority and is recognised by the Government, The Department of Health, NHS England and The Care Quality Commission.

Save face understand that selecting a safe practitioner can be extremely challenging. In an industry that is inadequately regulated and unaccountable many people are only influenced by price – or they are pressured into having treatments with time-limited deals and discounts that can ultimately leave them feeling regretful and disappointed. The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the regulator of healthcare in England and Wales; they monitor, inspect and regulate healthcare services to ensure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety.

Thames Skin Clinic is registered with the CQC to deliver the regulated activities of Treatment of Disease, Disorder and Injury, Diagnostic and Screening Procedures, Surgical Procedures and Services in Slimming Clinics.

When the CQC carry out inspections, their aim is to make sure that the services offered are:

Once inspected, the CQC rate the clinic and publish their findings openly on their website.
