Profhilo is a very safe and effective treatment when performed by medically qualified specialist professionals. We will guide you regarding suitable treatment courses depending on your skin’s requirements. It’s best to avoid extremes of temperature for 7 days after skin booster. It is not suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

During your skin boosting treatment, you will feel a slight pressure and sting in the skin, which indicates the Profhilo is being delivered within the skin where it is needed. We provide full aftercare advice and apply a premium SPF to your skin for added protection.
There are no serious risks associated with skin boosters. After treatment, your skin may feel warm with some swelling at the treatment sites, which go down in a few hours. Treatment is offered as a 2-3 session course (using 2ml Profhilo per session )with 21-42 days between treatments.
Larger areas can be treated during a course, however more Profhilo is needed which is reflected in the price.

Side effects are minimal if any. Injection site tenderness and mild bruising may occur.

Care must be taken if diagnosed with neurological or bleeding disorders, currently suffering with a skin infection or allergy or taking particular medication. Your specialist will be able to advise you further.
Please discuss any current medication with the doctor, especially if you are taking aspirin on Ibuprofen. Medication may need to be stopped before treatment.
Ensure you have booked your second treatment 21-42 days after the first and a follow up 1 month after your second treatment.
