Treating Thread Veins

Veins often get worse and can spread over larger areas. Treatment is possible to remove thread veins. Laser and cautery have a role with certain types and areas of broken veins. For larger areas especially those on the legs we find Sclerotherapy give most successful outcome.
Micro-sclerotherapy for thread veins
Over the past 12 years Dr Hemming has been treating unwanted leg veins with micro-sclerotherapy. These are small injections of a special solution into the veins, which cause the small thread veins to close and heal together.
Thread veins commonly appear on the skin. Veins appearing on legs can be linked to poor venous blood return and may be associated with varicose veins or other vein problems. Before going ahead with treatment, the veins need to be examined and tested to ensure this treatment is right for you.
